Barbara Southan

Physiotherapist / Owner

Hi, I’m Barbara Southan and I live in Perth-Andover. After graduating from Carleton North High School , I went off to Dalhousie University. I completed my Bachelors of Science in Psychology in 1985 and Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 1988. I returned to Perth-Andover as Sole charge Physiotherapist at Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph Hospital for 8 years. I joined with a colleague to open River Valley Physiotherapy in 1996. It has been fun and rewarding to serve the local community. When not working, I enjoy being outdoors; hiking, kayaking, snowshoeing gardening, even mowing my lawn. Time with family and friends is always a favorite way to spend time.
